Setting Up Oculus Proxies With Tun2Socks

Install Tun2Socks

1. Open the Google Play Store or a trusted source and download the Tun2Socks app.2. Install the app and open it to access the main configuration interface.

Enter Your Oculus Proxy Details

1. In the Tun2Socks app, fill in your Oculus proxy credentials:
  • Socks Host: Enter proxy.oculus-proxy.com.
  • Port: Use the port number provided in your Oculus dashboard.
  • Username: Enter your Oculus proxy username.
  • Password: Enter your Oculus proxy password.
2. Tap Start Connect to activate the proxy.
If you’re using geo-targeted proxies, format your username as your-username-country-XX (e.g., your-username-country-US) to route traffic through a specific region.

Grant VPN Permissions

1. A pop-up will appear requesting permission to set up a VPN connection.2. Tap OK to confirm and enable the connection.

Verify the Proxy Connection

1. Once connected, a key icon will appear in your notification bar, indicating that the proxy is active.2. To confirm the setup, visit a website like httpbin.org/ip. Verify that the displayed IP matches the IP of your Oculus proxy.

Disconnect or Reconnect as Needed

1. To stop the proxy connection, open the Tun2Socks app and tap Disconnect.2. You can reconnect anytime by reopening the app and tapping Start Connect again.
