How to Integrate Oculus Proxies With Postern

Download and Install Postern

1. Open the Google Play Store, search for Postern, and install the app.2. Launch Postern and grant any necessary permissions.

Configure Proxy Settings

1. Open Postern and tap on Add Proxy to start configuring a new proxy.
2. Enter your Oculus Proxy details:
  • Server Name: Choose a recognizable name (e.g., “Oculus Proxy”).
  • Server Address: proxy.oculus-proxy.com.
  • Server Port: Use the port number provided in your Oculus dashboard.
  • Server Type: Select HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5 based on your proxy type.
  • Username: Input your Oculus proxy username.
  • Password: Input your Oculus proxy password.
3. Tap Save to store the proxy configuration.
For country-specific proxies, you can enter a format like your-username-country-US to receive a US exit node.

1. Go to the Rules section in the app menu.
2. Tap Add Rule to create a new rule for routing traffic through the proxy.

  • Match Method: Choose Match All to route all traffic through the proxy.
  • Rule Type: Select Proxy/Tunnel.
  • Proxy/Proxy Group: Ensure the configured proxy (e.g., proxy.oculus-proxy.com:port) is selected.

Activate the Proxy

1. Return to the app menu and toggle VPN Off to activate the proxy connection.2. Once enabled, all device traffic will be routed securely through your Oculus proxy.
